Pacific Salmon Foundation was introduced to me by a friend Diana Collicutt who also refered me to George Ellis, who at the time, was on the Powell River Committee for Pacific Salmon Foundation. I met with George and he convinced me to donate a piece to the Gala Dinner Foundation in Vancouver. I was very nervous because this was the 1st time the art piece would be exposed to the public eye but I thought I either swim or sink. The art piece did very well and over the years I continued to donate some the art pieces to raise money for research to enhance our salmon in our rivers and ocean here on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada. So far the Wooden Salmon Company works hard to make an effort to create a piece from time to time to a cause that is important and neccessary for the survival of the species. Thank you PSF for what you do and continued success in the research and hard work towards the enhancement of our BC wild salmon.
